We are retiting a female, Dahlia. She is a Smooth Coat Black & Tan. Dahlia is 2 years old, DOB 9/11/22. She is A Classic Smooth Coat Doxie. She can be busy and then will take a 3-hour nap snuggled up on the couch. Dahlia is not sure of small children, not aggressive but doesn’t enjoy them. She also is slow to warm up to strangers, but that is a dachshund trait especially smooth coats. Dahlia here and at the veterinarian’s office has been nothing but positive. She is retiring early as pregnancy is not her strong suit, she was a wonderful mom and this is certainly our loss.
I think Dahlia would flourish in a home that has had Smooth Coat Dachshunds in the past. Possibly older Children or Grandchildren and Patience to Socialize her to The things that give her pause. Her rehoming fee is 2500.00
